The other day we were talking and we ended up talking about the Bible.
You asked if I believed everything in it and I said yes.
You said everything in the old testament was just crazy talk and can’t possibly be true.
So I said,, so you believe the Bible is just a book of fairy tales and you said yes.
Well it’s going to be hard to explain anything in the Bible if you think it’s a joke.
This is not good as you will not heed the warnings in the Bible.
I believe that all mankind is in a time of probation with God.
A time for us to get our act together and stop sinning against God.
This 2000 years we are currently in is called in the Bible as the times of the Gentiles.
It’s the 2000 years since Jesus was crucified and his coming back again.
Jesus the Son of God was crucified when he was 33 years old. So add 2000 years to that and you get 2033.
We are in 2026 right now so that gives us about 7 years left before the coming of Jesus back to the earth.
The Bible talks about this 7 years as the Great tribulation as time of great Chaos.
Extreme weather events, big wars, famines, all will be around then.
This will be a time of testing of Gods church and of Gods wrath against the wicked of the earth.
BTW,, The Bible describes a Gentile as anyone that is not a Jew. That would be US as well as the Muslims.
Once this probation period is over, God will send his Son back to get his church.
The true Christians and NOT the fake ones.
The Christians that have died during the 2000 years will be raised from the dead first,
then the Christians that are alive at this time will have their bodies changed in the twinkling of an eye
so the bible says.
Their bodies will be made immortal.
All Christians will be taken up to the clouds and meet Jesus in the air.
The True Christians will be protected from the wrath of God that will fall on all those left on the earth.
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
All of this can be found in the Bible. Much of it is in the book of Revelation the last book of the bible.
Matthew chapter 24 also describes this time as well.
The Bible tells me I must warn you of all this, and if I don’t, God will hold me accountable for your blood
if you are left behind.
Naturally I believe the Bible and you don’t. Soooo the way I see it is that your only hope is that I am wrong
in what I’m telling you and that the Bible is false like you say it is.
But if I’m right, then you will be in for a really bad time in those 7 years.
I sure PRAY you will change your mind before it’s too late.
If you wait till you die, it will be too late to ask Jesus to forgive you.
I will sum this up. When I was in my 20’s, I believed like you do now.
You might remember Mom trying to make good little Christians out of us.
I decided to prove Mom wrong so I read the Bible from cover to cover to find
something I could use against what she believed.
Instead the opposite happened. I realized that no man could invent a book
so through and complete as this. I realized it was a book of the history of all creation from the beginning of time
until the end.
There is NO OTHER book on earth like it. 6000 years old.
Please Steve, take my challenge and do what I did and read it through cover to cover.
Then make your decision. At least you will have ruled out any doubt.
